    Itinerary

Samburu National Reserve boasts a diverse array of wildlife, including rare special five species like Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and the Beisa oryx. It is also home to elephants, adding to its allure. Additionally, the reserve is inhabited by prominent predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, further enhancing its ecological significance.

    Day 1:Nairobi to Samburu

You will be met by our representative at the airport or hotel. After a short briefing, you’ll board the vehicle for a drive to Samburu National Reserve, ensuring a timely arrival for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive through the park, traversing the expansive grass plains and scattered acacia bushes that serve as a habitat for a diverse range of wildlife, including the renowned Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. You will enjoy dinner and spend the night at the camp, immersing yourself in the wild ambiance of the reserve.

    Day 2:Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, you will have a morning and afternoon game drive in search of the African wild cats. Samburu is rich in wildlife not seen in other parts of Kenya. Here, you will find the long-necked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, endangered Beisa Oryx and the Somali ostrich, all common to the northern province of Kenya. Watch for elephant, rhino, lion, and buffalo. An occasional crocodile will appear on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. From the safari drive we return to the camp for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay is at the camp.

    Day 3:Samburu to Nairobi

After breakfast, leave the Reserve for a drive back to Nairobi where your safari ends with a drop off to the airport or hotel.
