Visit Kenya’s mainland with a start at the country’s capital, Nairobi. Embark on the joys of Safari as you encounter the green sanctuary of Ol Pejeta, the picturesque birdlife of Lake Nakuru national park and an eventual traverse to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.

Make your way to Central Kenya and into the sanctuary of the Rhino population, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which also hosts orphaned chimpanzees. Moving on to the Birdwatcher’s Paradise and home to the White Rhino species, Lake Nakuru National Park, and finally the Masai Mara, with majestic rolling landscapes, all the Big Five species, various ecosystems, diverse wildlife and a mind-blowing cultural heritage, Kenya holds nothing back

Tour Plan

Day 01 NAIROBI

On your first day, an Antonio Safaris representative at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) will meet you with a warmly welcome. With a transfer to your Nairobi hotel, you will be in for a treat spending the rest of the day in Nairobi. Enjoy activities including visits to the Giraffe Center, the Karen Blixen Museum, a city tour of Nairobi and a shopping spree among others.

Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, derives its name from the Maasai saying ‘Enkare Nyrobi’ meaning ‘place of cool waters’. Nairobi is the Safari capital of the world, being the only capital city with a national park within its boundaries. With one of the most diverse landscapes in the world, Nairobi is home to an expansive variety of wildlife species, which mostly live in the grassy plains, rainforests and wooded savannahs of Kenya.

In addition to Nairobi’s wildlife fascination, the city offers a nightlife you cannot refuse. With clubs life with music, shops and market bustle, and a varied mixture of restaurants, your Nairobi stay will be a memorable one.

Enjoy a dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant, the only restaurant in Kenya permitted to sell game meat on an all you can eat basis, (or any restaurant of your choice among the options provided) and stay overnight at your specified accommodation.

Day 02 NAIROBI TO OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

With an early breakfast, leave the city lights of Nairobi behind as you depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive in time for check-in and lunch. Proceed for an afternoon Game Drive after some relaxation at the accommodation.

A game drive in search for both black and white Rhinos among other wildlife including elephants, lions and buffaloes, is a specialty in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the conservation area with the highest rhino population in Kenya. It is also home to the last two of the Northern white Rhinos that remain in the world. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is the only one of its kind in Kenya, with an opportunity to observe the orphaned chimps.

You will have dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 03 OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast at the lodge, depart the central highlands of Ol Pejeta for the famous Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive just in time to check in and enjoy a hearty lunch. You will proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park after a short rest at the lodge.

Lake Nakuru National Park hosts the Lake Nakuru, a charming lake on the floor of the captivating Rift Valley. The park, famously the Bird Watcher’s paradise, is home to over 400-recorded bird species, including the greater and lesser flamingoes that flock the lake. The park also hosts diverse wildlife including the endangered black and white rhinos, the endangered Rothschild giraffe among others.

Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Wake up to an early breakfast, then embark on an adventurous journey from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve. On the way, stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a bathroom break and for a scenic view of the rift valley. Arrive in Mara, check-in, enjoy a lovely lunch and relax. Afterwards, you will proceed with an Afternoon game drive.

The Masai Mara welcomes you warmly to marvel at its beautiful splendor of wilderness. With diverse wildlife species, stunning landscapes, a large sundry ecosystem, a breathtaking cultural heritage, the Mara holds nothing back. Home to all the Big five wildlife species, the Mara hosts one of the most alluring animal shows in the world, the Wildebeest Migration. The Mara also offers opportunities to visit the local Masai people in the surroundings learn their culture and interact with them.

After an eventful afternoon, head back to your accommodation for a warm meal and some shuteye for the night.

Day 05 MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Take to the skies in the early morning for a scenic Balloon Safari and get to experience the Mara in its entire splendor (at an extra cost). Return to the camp for breakfast (or enjoy breakfast in the bush), and then embark on a Full-day Guided Game Drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the Mara’s gently rolling landscapes.

The Masai Mara, a renowned world destination, presents scenic rolling landscapes flowing with diverse wildlife species. The great Wildebeest Migration in July through October is the largest annual animal migration in the world. The Wildebeests migrate from the plains of the Serengeti to Masai Mara, across the overflowing, crocodile, and hippo-infested Mara River. At the shores of the Mara River, the wildebeests encounter the prowling Big Cats of the Mara ready to feast. The Wildebeests are pacesetters for other wildlife, the zebras and antelopes, who follow them across and into the rich plains of Masai Mara.

Afterwards, return to your accommodation to freshen up, enjoy a hearty dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE TO NAIROBI

After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a warm visit to the local Masai Village. Experience an interaction with the Maasai people, their culture and even buy Maasai hand-made artefacts as souvenirs, a witness and reminder of your exceptional Safari experience.

You will then say your goodbyes to the Mara and drive back to Nairobi. Have lunch at a local restaurant (at own cost) en route to Nairobi.

Drop off will be at your Nairobi Hotel or the Nairobi Airport for your onward flight home.
