Masai Mara National Reserve, arguably the most iconic destination in Kenya, is home to gentle rolling landscapes, a diverse ecosystem filled with wildlife conservancies, a large wildlife population and an enticing culture of the Masai people. Masai Mara hosts the Big Five animals, and holds the highest population of mammals and other wildlife in Kenya. The Mara is also the host conservation area for over 550 recorded bird species. With acceptable temperatures and dry weather for the better part of the year, Mara presents one of the most mesmerizing animal shows in the world, the Wildebeest Migration. The largest annual migration of animals in the world occurs from July through October.

Amboseli, meaning ‘salty dust’ in the Masai language is one of the most renowned parks. It is home to herds of large-tusked African Elephants and hosts four of the Big Five animal species. Other wildlife including giraffes, zebras and cheetahs. Its birdlife species is also quite impressive making it a hub for birdwatchers. Amboseli also offers a view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, as its backdrop. A Game Drive through Amboseli’s vast, golden savannah plains where its free-roaming wildlife species move in harmonious existence is an experience of a lifetime. End your Safari with a flight back to Nairobi for your onward flight home.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Our representative will meet you at your Nairobi Hotel or on arrival at JKIA airport, and warmly welcome you to Kenya. After a brief summary of your Safari schedule, board the awaiting transfer vehicle to the Wilson airport for your local flight to Masai Mara

You will arrive in Masai Mara in less than 2 hours’ time and will then proceed with your adventure. Your driver guide will meet you at the airstrip in Maasai Mara. After a warm welcome and brief introduction, you will proceed with a game drive en route to your accommodation for check-in.

At the accommodation, relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch. After relaxing at the accommodation, head out for an afternoon game drive to be acquainted with the park. You will go in search of the big five and other wildlife.

Later, return to the lodge/camp for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 02 Masai Mara National Reserve

On a Balloon Safari, an optional activity at an extra cost, experience the breathtaking aerial view of the spotted Mara and the free-roaming wildlife beneath you. Settle down to a bush breakfast after an exhilarating adventure to top up the experience.

With packed lunch, embark on a full day game drive in the Masai Mara reserve. Your guide will help to identify wildlife in the park including the big five and ensure you enjoy cruising though the beauty of the gently rolling hills of the Mara.

At around lunchtime, you will enjoy a picnic along the banks overlooking the Mara River and will witness the Nile Crocodiles and the Hippos that inhabit the river. A further game drive will present an opportunity to encounter more wildlife as well as bird species for bird lovers.

Later in the evening, return to the lodge/camp to freshen up, enjoy a hearty dinner and spend the night.

Day 03 Masai Mara National Reserve - Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before leaving Masai Mara. You will have an opportunity for a brief game drive en-route to the Mara airstrip for your local flight to Amboseli.

You will arrive in Amboseli in approximately an hour or so. Your driver guide will be readily waiting to meet you at the airstrip in Amboseli. After a brief, warmly welcome, you will board the vehicle and proceed with a game drive en route to your accommodation for check-in.

At the accommodation, you will check –in, freshen up, relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch. After relaxing at the accommodation, head out for an afternoon game drive to familiarize yourself with the park. Amboseli is a host habitat for four of the big five animal species among other wildlife.

Later, return to the lodge/camp for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 04 Amboseli National Park

Wake up to a hearty breakfast, before embarking on a Full-day Game drive in the park with parked lunch. An early morning presents the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro sighted in Amboseli’s background. It is also an opportunity to encounter the elusive leopard before they shy away from curious eyes.

In addition to the park’s wildlife diversity from big cats to Zebras, Amboseli hosts over 400 recorded bird species, making it attractive to bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Its seasonal Lake Amboseli within the park supports its abundant wildlife and birdlife species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at Amboseli’s authorized picnic spots amid the open grasslands filled with free-roaming wildlife. Afterwards, head back to your lodging for dinner, some relaxation and an overnight stay

Day 05 Amboseli - Mombasa

Wake up to a leisurely breakfast on your last day. Say goodbye to the fascination that is Amboseli and depart on your way back to Nairobi. Your driver guide will drive you to the airstrip for your flight back to Mombasa.

At the Airport, our representative will provide transfer back to your hotel.
