This Safari takes you on an adventure in the Amboseli National Park.
Board SGR train leaving Nairobi at 8:20 am. Alight at Emali and drive to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli, meaning ‘salty dust’ in the Masai language is one of the most renowned parks. It is home to herds of African Elephants with large tusks and hosts four of the Big Five animal species among other wildlife including giraffes, zebras and cheetahs. Its birdlife species is also quite impressive making it a hub for birdwatchers. Amboseli also offers a view of the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, as its backdrop. A Game Drive through Amboseli’s vast, golden savannah plains where its free-roaming wildlife species move in harmonious existence is an experience of a lifetime. Its seasonal Lake Amboseli within the park supports its abundant wildlife and birdlife species.
At Emali Railway Station, an Antonio Safaris representative will meet you and warmly welcome you to Kenya. After a brief summary of your Safari, you will then board the vehicle for a drive to Amboseli.
You will arrive in Amboseli in less than 2 hours. You will proceed with a game drive en route to your accommodation for check-in.
At the accommodation, relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch. After relaxing at the accommodation, head out for an afternoon game drive to be acquainted with the park. You will go in search of the big five and other wildlife.
Later, return to the lodge/camp for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Wake up to a hearty breakfast, before embarking on a Full-day Game drive in the park with parked lunch. An early morning presents the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro sighted in Amboseli’s background. In addition to the park’s wildlife diversity from big cats to Zebras, Amboseli hosts over 400 recorded bird species, making it attractive to bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Amboseli’s designated picnic spots amid the open grasslands filled with free-roaming wildlife.
After a leisurely breakfast, you will say your goodbyes to the Amboseli and drive back to Emali. Drop off at Emali Railway Station.
