Overview

Your safari begins with a drive to Masai Mara which is Kenya’s leading safari destination offering incomparable game viewing experience and then the Great Migration that happens during July to early October. Masai Mara’s rich cultural heritage and its hosting of the World’s largest animal migration makes it arguably the best Safari destination in Africa.

Continue the safari to Lake Nakuru, arguably one of the most renowned lakes in Kenya’s Rift Valley also known as the Birdwatcher’s paradise. Lake Nakuru National Park presents a variety of birdlife including the famous greater and lesser flamingos and pelicans among others. The Park is also home to diverse wildlife species including both the black and the Southern White Rhinos.

The Safari continues to Lake Naivasha as you sail through the crescent island to a guided walk past some wildlife and lots of bird life. End this epic safari with a drive to Hell’s Gate National Park, that has wide variety of wildlife and for its scenery. This includes the Fischer’s Tower, Central Tower columns and Hell’s Gate Gorge. The Park is a great choice for thrill-seekers; mountain biking, rock climbing, and hiking are some of the available optional activities.

Tour Plan

Day 01 NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA

You will be met by our representative. Thereafter depart from Nairobi and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. This shall be one of the most scenic drives with a stop-over at the rift valley view point. Proceed with your drive arriving in time for lunch.

You will go on an afternoon game drive at the park after lunch and some leisure time at the lodge. An exhilarating, spectacular, and exciting experience is a game drive in the Mara.

Day 02 FULL DAY MASAI MARA

The most thrilling activity has to be the Hot Air Balloon safari (Optional- At an extra cost), taken at the break of dawn and ending with a leisurely 'Champagne Bush Breakfast'. This is a truly unique adventure activity and the Mara provides the perfect backdrop for the amazing balloon excursion. The flight lasts for about an hour as you glide gracefully over the African savannah watching the magnificent wildlife below. The pilots are highly experienced and the activity boasts of an exceptional safety record. This day will be fully dedicated to experience Masai Mara in search of the big five among other wildlife.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch near the Mara River. In the evening you will have an option of visiting the Masai Village at an extra cost or have a relaxing evening at the camp.

Day 03 MASAI MARA TO LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast, you will leave the gentle rolling savannah of Masai Mara for a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive around the lake shores. Lake Nakuru is known for flocks of flamingos and other pelicans. Visit the nearby Rhino sanctuary for possible black & white Rhino viewing. More wildlife including Buffalo, Giraffe, Leopard could be seen during your extensive game viewing. Return to your lodge for Dinner & Overnight.

Day 4 LAKE NAKURU TO LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast, you will leave for a drive to Lake Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch. You will experience a boat ride and a guided walk in the afternoon past some wildlife and lots of bird life

Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Resort.

Day 5 LAKE NAIVASHA TO NAIROBI

This being the last day for the safari with us. Hell’s Gate National Park is worth a visit on your way back to Nairobi. You’ll leave the resort after breakfast for a drive to Hell’s Gate National Park. It that has wide variety of wildlife and for its scenery. This includes the Fischer's Tower, Central Tower columns and Hell's Gate Gorge. Mountain biking, rock climbing and hiking are some of the available optional activities. After which you will drive back to Nairobi with a drop off to your preferred location.
