On your first day, an Antonio Safaris representative at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) will meet you with a warm welcome. Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, derives its name from the Maasai saying ‘Enkare Nyrobi’ meaning ‘place of cool waters’. It is known as the Safari capital of the world, being the only capital city with a national park within its boundaries. Nairobi National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and your visit will include stops at key points such as Hyena Dam, Impala View Point, Athi Dam, and the Hippo Pool. These locations offer excellent opportunities to observe animals in their natural habitat while enjoying the park’s scenic landscapes of grassy plains, rainforests, and wooded savannahs.
In addition to its wildlife attractions, Nairobi offers an exciting nightlife and cultural scene. Wake up to an early breakfast, then embark on an adventurous journey from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve. On the way, stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a bathroom break and for a scenic view of the rift valley. Arrive in Mara, check-in, enjoy a lovely lunch and relax. Afterwards, you will proceed with an Afternoon game drive.

Take to the skies in the early morning for a scenic Balloon Safari and get to experience the Mara in its entire splendor (at an extra cost). Return to the camp for breakfast (or enjoy breakfast in the bush), and then embark on a Full-day Guided Game Drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the Mara’s gently rolling landscapes.
The Masai Mara, a renowned world destination, presents scenic rolling landscapes flowing with diverse wildlife species. The great Wildebeest Migration in July through October is the largest annual animal migration in the world. The Wildebeests migrate from the plains of the Serengeti to Masai Mara, across the overflowing, crocodile, and hippo-infested Mara River. At the shores of the Mara River, the wildebeests encounter the prowling Big Cats of the Mara ready to feast. The Wildebeests are pacesetters for other wildlife, the zebras and antelopes, who follow them across and into the rich plains of Masai Mara.
Afterwards, return to your accommodation to freshen up, enjoy a hearty dinner and an overnight stay.
