Lake Bogoria National Reserve is a geothermal paradise featuring over 200 steaming volcanic springs and bubbling geysers along Lake Bogoria’s banks and from within the lake itself. The lake’s alkaline nature supports growth of algae providing food options for the flocks of warm pink flamingoes and other birdlife species that habit the lake.
Lake Nakuru National Park is a haven for birdwatchers and a host of the rare white rhinos. Despite the park’s relatively modest size, it is home to a variety of wildlife species, including the elusive leopard. Lake Nakuru is widely known for its over 400-recorded bird species, including a large flock of greater and lesser flamingos.
Our representative will meet you at the airport or at your hotel in Nairobi. You will board the 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser and proceed to the Lake Bogoria National Reserve following a cordial greeting and a briefing on your safari schedule.
Lake Bogoria National Reserve is home to over 135 recorded birdlife species including storks, herons, and hornbills. However, Lake Bogoria is widely known for an endless flock of bright pink flamingos estimated to be about two million in number, with the fuchsia pink lesser flamingos being the majority and a smaller number of greater flamingos.
The Reserve also attracts predatory bird species such as tawny eagles that prey on the lake’s flamingoes, as well as supporting several other wildlife species including the kudu antelope, buffalos, zebras and even the elusive leopard. As a rarely visited destination in Kenya, you will enjoy an almost private experience with the steamy hot springs and the blanket of flamingoes across the lake.
After an unforgettable experience, you will depart for Lake Nakuru for dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Lake Nakuru National Park, famously known as the Birdwatchers paradise, is host to the Great Rift Valley’s picturesque Lake Nakuru. The greater and lesser flamingos that swarm the lake are among the more than 400 bird species documented in the park. The park is also home to a variety of species, such as the endangered Rothschild giraffe and black and white rhinoceros.
After the adventure in the park, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant then make your way back to Nairobi where you will arrive in the evening.
