Tour Plan

Day 01 Day 1: Nairobi to to Tsavo East National park

Board the SGR train from Nairobi at 8:20 a.m. and enjoy a comfortable journey through Kenya’s scenic countryside. Upon arrival at Voi Train Station, you will be warmly received by our driver and driven to Tsavo East National Park. Proceed to Voi Wildlife Lodge for check-in and a delicious lunch, followed by a short rest to refresh before your afternoon activities.

Later in the afternoon, set out for an exciting game drive in Tsavo East National Park, one of the world’s renowned biodiversity strongholds. The park is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including the famous “Big Five” lion, black rhino, cape buffalo, elephant, and leopard. It also hosts an impressive array of bird species such as the crowned crane, black kite, and sacred ibis.

The park’s landscape is largely flat, with vast dry plains intersected by the Galana River, and features remarkable landmarks such as the Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls. During your game drive, you will visit Mudanda Rock, a towering natural rock formation that serves as a vantage point for spotting wildlife, especially elephants gathering at the nearby waterhole. Continue to Lugard Falls, a stunning series of rapids on the Galana River, where the water cascades through eroded rock formations, creating a dramatic and picturesque scene. You will also explore Kanderi Swamp, a lush wetland area that attracts a variety of animals and birds, offering great opportunities for photography and observation.

As the sun sets, return to Voi Wildlife Lodge to unwind and enjoy a sumptuous dinner. Spend the night at the lodge, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 02 Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park.

Early in the morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing for a game drive in Tsavo East National Park as you make your way toward Tsavo West National Park. The drive offers beautiful views of the rugged landscapes and a chance to spot more wildlife along the way.

Tsavo West is a more popular destination, well known for its magnificent scenery, rich and varied wildlife, and diverse attractions. The park boasts the crystal-clear waters of Mzima Springs, home to hippos and crocodiles, as well as a thriving population of colorful fish that can be viewed through the underwater observation chamber. You will also visit the Coolday Water Spring Area, a serene and scenic spot ideal for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of the park.

Continue your adventure to the Rhino Sanctuary, a protected area dedicated to conserving the endangered black rhino. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about ongoing conservation efforts and, with some luck, catch sight of these rare and majestic animals in their natural habitat.

Arrive at Rhino Valley Lodge in time for lunch, where you will check in and enjoy a delicious meal before taking a short rest. Later in the afternoon, head out for another game drive through the park’s breathtaking landscapes, keeping an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. As the evening approaches, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the wilderness.

Day 03 Tsavo West to Nairobi

Early morning game drive in the park and later return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out with a short game drive as you drive back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at you hotel or the airport.
