Allow us to be part of your adventure, beginning in Northern Kenya in Samburu County. Explore the
Samburu National Reserve located at the shores of the Ewaso Ng’iro River. As a premier conservation area and home to the Special 5 wildlife species, Samburu still hosts other wildlife species including about 900 elephants among others.

The road will lead you to your next destination, Lake Nakuru National Park. The Park is famously renowned as the Birdwatcher’s Paradise. Although it is relatively small, is home to several wildlife species, including the elusive leopard and the Black and White Rhino species. The Lake Nakuru within the park hosts over 400 recorded bird species including flamingoes and pelicans.
Next, visit the Masai Mara, one of the highlight destinations of your Safari. Masai Mara offers you the opportunity to explore its expansive rolling landscapes, various ecosystems, diverse wildlife species and an engaging cultural heritage. Apart from being home to all the Big Five species, the Mara hosts most of the larger mammal wildlife. Masai Mara also hosts the most amazing animal events in the world, the Wildebeest Migration.

The journey takes you onto the serene Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The Lake is home to pods of hippos and diverse birdlife species. Other wildlife species such as waterbucks and zebras live on the lake’s shores. The Animal Sanctuary Farm is located on an island on the Lake Naivasha, with diverse wildlife.

Finally, you get to visit the Amboseli National Park, the home of the African Elephants, famously the gentle giants of the wild. Amboseli hosts iconic wildlife species including four of the Big Five and presents a chance for an up-close encounter with herds of big-tusked African elephants that flock the park. Amboseli is located at the foothills of the Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest summit, presenting a glimpse of the peak on a clear day.

Tour Plan

DAY 1 NAIROBI TO SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

An Antonio Safaris representative will meet you at your Nairobi Hotel or at the Airport. After a warm welcome and a short briefing on your Safari itinerary, you will then board the 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser depart for Samburu National Reserve, a premier game reserve at the shores of River Ewaso Ng’iro in the Northern part of Kenya.

Arrive in time for check-in and lunch at Samburu. Proceed for an afternoon Game Drive after some relaxation at the accommodation. Samburu is famous for its special five namely the Beisa Oryx, the Gerenuk, the Reticulated Giraffe, the Gravy’s Zebra, and the Somali Ostrich. The game drive gives you an opportunity to search for and identify these animals in the wild.

You will return and have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/camp.

Day 02 SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Wake up to a leisurely breakfast, then prepare for a Full Day Game Drive in the Park. With a parked lunch, you will head out in search of the Samburu’s special five wildlife species among others. An early morning also presents an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the elusive leopard in its natural habitat.
Samburu is also, where a famous lioness called Mamunyak adopted a baby Oryx. You will drive through the park where you will encounter other wildlife including elephants and the Big Cat predators. The African Wild Dogs’ sightings are also quite common in Samburu.
Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park and return to the lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast at the lodge, depart from Samburu for the famous Lake Nakuru National Park. The Park hosts the Lake Nakuru, a charming lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley.
Arrive just in time to check in and enjoy a hearty lunch. After a short rest at the accommodation, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park.
The park, famously known as the Bird Watcher’s paradise, is home to over 400-recorded bird species, including the greater and lesser flamingoes that flock the lake. The park also hosts diverse wildlife including the endangered black and white rhinos, the endangered Rothschild giraffe among others.
You will return to the lodge/camp for a lovely dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Wake up to an early breakfast, before embarking on an adventurous journey from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve. With diverse wildlife species, stunning landscapes, an expansive ecosystem and an eye-opening cultural heritage, the Mara is a mind-blowing destination.
Make a brief stop en route for breath-taking views and a bathroom break. Arrive in Mara, check-in, enjoy a lovely lunch and relax. Afterwards, you will proceed with an Afternoon game drive.

The Mara will warmly welcome you to feast your eyes upon its beautiful splendor of wilderness. Being the home to all The Big five wildlife species, Mara hosts one of the most fascinating animal events in the world, the Wildebeest Migration.
You will proceed back to the lodge/camp at dusk for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

With the option of a Balloon Safari, take to the Mara skies in the early morning for an aerial scenic view and experience the Mara in its entire splendor.
Return to the camp for breakfast, and then embark on a Full-day Guided Game Drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara, a renowned world destination, presents scenic rolling landscapes flowing with diverse wildlife species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the Mara’s gently rolling landscapes or near the shores of the Mara River. The largest annual animal migration in the world happens in Mara. The great Wildebeest Migration in July through October is where Wildebeests migrate from the plains of the Serengeti to Masai Mara, across the overflowing, crocodile, and hippo-infested Mara River. The Wildebeests set the pace for Zebras and Antelopes who follow them across and into the rich plains of Masai Mara.

However, across the river and on the other shore of the Mara River, the wildebeests encounter the prowling Big Cats of the Mara ready to feast, a hurdle they have to overcome and enjoy the green pastures of the Mara.
At dusk, you will make your way back to the lodge/camp for a hearty meal, an opportunity to relax and a good night sleep.

Day 6 MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE TO LAKE NAIVASHA

Wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Leave the rolling landscapes of Masai Mara behind and make your way to the serene freshwater lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Naivasha.

You will arrive in time to check in and sit down for a delectable meal. Afterwards, you will head out to the Lake for a boat trip. Lake Naivasha is home to various bird species and host to various hippopotamus pods. The shores of the lake, filled with roaming wildlife including zebras and antelopes, will add flavor to your scenic experience.

Enjoy an afternoon guided walk on Lake Naivasha’s Animal Sanctuary Farm. You will come across different wildlife species as you bond with nature. (Rather than a walking safari, you could do Horse Back Riding in the sanctuary at an additional cost)

You will return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 LAKE NAIVASHA TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

You will depart for Amboseli National Park after breakfast at the lodge/camp. Amboseli, located at the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro, is home to the African Elephants, the gentle giants of the wild. It is also host to iconic wildlife including four of the Big Five Wildlife species.

Arrive at Amboseli in time for check-in and lunch at your specified lodge or camp, after which you will proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. The park offers an up-close encounter with herds of big-tusked African elephants that flock in its expansive savannah grasslands.

You will return to the camp/lodge for a relaxing evening, a delectable meal for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 8 AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After a hearty breakfast the next morning, embark on a Full-day Game drive in the park. You will carry with you a pre-parked lunch.
An early morning will present the scenic view of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro sighted in Amboseli’s background. The park has diverse wildlife species, from big cats to zebras among others. Amboseli also hosts over 400 recorded bird species, making it attractive to bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts alike.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch at Amboseli’s designated picnic spots amid the open grasslands filled with free-roaming wildlife. The park has up to four different ecosystems, giving the ultimate safari experience.

You will return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK TO NAIROBI

After a leisurely breakfast, you will depart for Nairobi, leaving the golden savannah grasslands of Amboseli behind. You will have an option to visit the local Masai people in the surroundings learn their culture and interact with them.
Enjoy a blissful drive back to Nairobi. Drop off at your Nairobi Hotel or the Nairobi Airport for your onward flight home
