While the shuttle buses are designed for paved road transfers, the Land Cruisers and Safari Vans are true safari vehicles. They feature pop-up roofs that open vertically, allowing you to stand comfortably for unobstructed wildlife viewing and photography. Large sliding windows provide excellent ventilation and viewing angles from your seat. Some of our Land Cruisers are specifically adapted for serious photographers, replacing glass windows with roll-up canvas sides for a completely open-air experience. We are happy to provide bean bags for camera stabilization free of charge upon request.

Toyota Land Cruiser (8 or 7-Seater) – The Ultimate Safari Workhorse

Hire Rate: USD$ 190 per day And $200 on High Season July-August (vehicle and driver-guide only).

Fuel & Park Fees: Not included. We can assist in calculating these costs.

Seating: Comfortably seats 7-8 passengers. In the 8-seat version, every passenger has a window seat except for one in the middle of the back row, who can easily use the pop-up roof.

Safari Customizations: Equipped with a large pop-up roof, specialized shock absorbers, and reinforced suspension for a smooth ride on rough terrain.

7-Seater Open-Side Land Cruiser – For the Dedicated Wildlife Photographer

This specialized vehicle is a dream for photography enthusiasts. Its key feature is the removable glass windows, which are replaced with roll-up canvas sides. This creates an open, unobstructed vantage point, perfect for maneuvering long lenses. When weather protection is needed, the canvas can simply be zipped up. The large pop-up roof provides a 360-degree view, allowing for stunning shots from a standing position.

Inclusive Rate: USD$ 235 per day. This covers the vehicle, driver-guide, fuel, and park entry fees for the vehicle and driver (guest park fees are extra).

Off-Road Permits: For an unparalleled wildlife experience in the Masai Mara, we can assist in applying for an off-road driving permit (subject to availability and an additional fee of US$ 500 per week). Advance requests are essential as these permits are limited.
